The atmosphere was so relaxing and had this beautiful ambiance. Watching our food be prepared with so much thought and care was as enriching and satisfying! We felt very welcomed, like we were over at a friend's house for dinner. Simple, hearty and love-filled vegan meals, finished off with what was probably one of the best coffees I've ever had in my life. We thought the price for the set menu was very reasonable and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Would recommend to anyone who'd appreciate simplicity and a quiet zen escape from the busy streets below.

Cafe Atl is super conveniently located near a couple different shopping areas, and my girlfriend and I were excited it was a short walk from our hotel (the Nikko.) At first it was a bit hard to find (mostly because google maps wasn't pinpointing it well), but read through the directional cues on Happy Cow and you'll make it. Like a lot of the places we went in Osaka, Cafe Atl had a couple dishes which featured lentils prominently. For my dinner set, I got a lentils and brown rice dish that was preceded by a delicious salad topped with chickpeas. It was a really refreshing meal and the staff were very friendly.

Great dessert and coffee! Nice atmosphere with a view over Shinsaibashi. The mains are average though. Go for cake and coffee.
