Tips for you
As we are staying on the island for a couple of days we also like to explore a little bit, we have booked a day tours, in the island they offer different tours of your choice. Our interest is going on fishing, snorkeling and visiting where fish sauce is made . We had started by fishing, it was really cool very nice experience, after fishing we sail a little further and we can go on snorkeling . In early afternoon we reach to traditional fish sauce factory. I was surprised that the 'factory' was outdoors, open air. ... and was looking forward to seeing the fish sauce factory in Phu Quoc. I also realized in the process how difficult it is to find authentic fish sauce made in Phu Quoc here. Since then, an exciting new fish sauce brand has come onto the market. Next, I was pleased to see that the only ingredients in this fish sauce are anchovies and salt. And finally, it is nice to know that this stuff actually comes from Phu Quoc, as opposed to the brands that loudly proclaim the Phu Quoc name but are actually manufactured elsewhere. I didn’t spend too much time here but I thought it was important to see and know all about process to made fish sauce.
