Reviews
The title of my review is the catch phrase for their restaurant.... and it is so true! As budget backpackers traveling for a year, we thought the restaurant looked way too nice to be within our budget. It had lovely decor, with excellent lighting and lots of lanterns. It felt like we were doing some fancier dining for travelers that are spending $50 a day per person per day. We ended up coming here several times, as the food was absolutely delicious! We could tell other people liked it as well, as we saw other regular customers. The staff is super friendly as well. We felt like we were eating at a nice restaurant on a backpacker budget. I particularly loved that you could get a lot of items that were vegetable based. The avocado and tomato salad is huge, and is to die for. The pumpkin soup, potato chicken leek soup, beef satay, and chicken pineapple stirfry were also delicious. I like how they give you free peanuts as a starter, and little tamarind sweets to round out your meal.
