What to explore at A Day in the Life of a Cambodian Farmer & Countryside Experience?
7.30am: Depart your Guesthouse
8.00am: Arrive at the Village and meet the host Family
8.15am: Enjoy a Khmer style breakfast
9.00am: Take part in rice planting or harvesting whilst learning about the production of Cambodia’s award winning rice.
10.00am: Wash down by the Pond.
10.15am: Prepare & cook a traditional lunch with the host Family then relax in hammocks.
12:30pm: Watch & learn how the Khmer noodles are made.
1.00pm: Take part in a cooking lesson in making a traditional dessert then enjoy eating it.
2:00pm: Visit the Local pagoda for a water blessing by local monks
2.30pm: Swim at the Secret Lake and relax in the Hammocks whilst learning about the history of this area.
3.30pm: Return to village and experience a oxcart ride through the beautiful rice paddy’s then say goodbye to our lovely Hosts’
4.30pm: Arrive back at your Guesthouse
